Unit Aim

For participants on the Certificate IV in Building to gain the skills and knowledge required to effectively and efficiently take off quantities, estimate costs and produce a quotation for a domestic housing construction.

How You Will Benefit

Upon completion of this unit, including an assignment based on the take-off of quantities and preparation of a quote from a set of drawings, participants will have a very sounds understanding of quantities, estimating and quoting jobs as a residential builder. Skills relating to managing client expectations and presenting your finished quote will also be emphasised.

CPCBC4005A - Produce labour and materials schedules for ordering
