Statement of Attainment for Building Sustainability

The NSW Master Builders has a partially funded pilot program designed to upskill existing workers with sustainability skills.
CPSISC has offered to pay $750 for each trainee. The balance of $750 of the RTO training costs need to be met by the trainee, his/her employeer and/or an industry training fund.

Course Aim

You will be trained in how to build thermally effecient and sustainable structures. Apply building codes and standards, and minimise waste to low rise buildings by completing the following units of competency.

Units of Competency

  • CPCCBC4001A - Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for low rise buildings
  • CPCCBC4020A - Build thermally effective and sustainable structures
  • CPCCBC4021A - Minimise waste on the building and construction site

Who should attend?

  • Builders
  • Sub-contractors

Prerequisites:

You must:

  • hold a VET qualification
  • not be an apprentice or trainee
  • be working for or sub-contracting to an SME (a business employing 1 - 100 employees)

Duration: 2 days
CPD: 28 points (12 points per year needed, maximum carry over of 11 points for the following year)
