We can help you

Did you know that to legally work in Australia as a contractor you will need a licence that will only be issued on presentation of an AUSTRALIAN trade qualification? General certificates or certificates from another country together with your experience may not get you the contractor licence you need to operate as a legal sub-contractor or tradesperson.

At the Master Builders Association we are able to formally recognise your trade certificates, knowledge and experience through ‘credit transfer’ and ‘recognition of prior learning’. It is a straight forward process we have developed that paves the way to an equivalent Australian trade qualification for you.

As the world has become more connected through technological improvements, the advent of live and recorded assessment processes have become viable. This does not mean assessments that can be easily passed but rather offer an opportunity for applicants no matter where they are based to be assessed for a qualification. Many will know the importance of qualifications and their relevance for employment and insurance purposes while others will be aware of the staged implementation of the national licensing requirements. One thing that is certain is that in today’s working environment, a formal qualification is a necessity to achieve your potential.

Applicants from all over the world have been using this form of assessment for the past few years and it has proved to be viable, secure and thorough. Now, Master Builders are embracing this assessment process to offer everyone the opportunity to be assessed from across Australia and New Zealand – there are no boundaries. All it requires is that you have a computer, a broadband connection and a webcam for the interview stage. The assessment process is managed through our partners, Australian Skill Assessments yet the Master Builders will be assessing your application and if deemed competent, issue your qualification in our name. By clicking on the register button below, you will be directed to Australian Skill Assessments website where you will be able to enter your details to get the process started.
