Unit Aim

This module of the Certificate IV in Building course is the most technically demanding phase of the course. The aim is to ensure that graduates of the course have a thorough working knowledge of the concepts relating to the behaviour of structures and materials commonly used in domestic building and the underlying principles and terminology of structural engineering.

In this module you will focus on Materials and Building Technology and how to use the correct materials for design and structural principals.
